I am in a wedding at Mission Point in July, but after reading reviews here and seeing what%26#39;s available in Main St. area (Air Conditioning!!!), I%26#39;m thinking about staying in a different hotel. If I stay in the Main St. area, how long would a horse taxi take to get to Mission Point.
Weighing between convenience of staying at Mission Point, and the better reviewed hotels elsewhere.
Any feedback or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Traveling from/to Mission Point
Mission Point is basically on Main St. The name changes a couple of blocks away.
Few hotels are more than 3/4 mile away. Most are closer. The wait for a taxi would likely be much longer than the ride.

I would suggest staying in town at a hotel that you like and just walk or take the taxi to Mission Point for the time you need to be there.
We stayed at Mission Point this past summer and found it inconvenient for walking to town, but didn%26#39;t like the wait for the taxi, either.

Most hotels will call the night before and make reservations for a taxi to pick you up at a certain time. Maybe leave a half hour before you need to be there so you won%26#39;t be late. I would stay in town also.
