Beach access

Any hotels/motels with beach access that are clean and nice?

There are not any that are right on the water that have beach access. Silver Beach Hotel and The Boulevard hotel are both in the small downtown area just up on the ';bluff';, a short walk from the beach, close to lots of restaurants and shops. There are several homes that rent out in the summer too. These are in the neighborhood closer to the beach. You could also stay at the Holiday Inn Express. They have a lake view -- but are up high above the lake and not near a swimming beach. You would need to drive your car a mile or so towards downtown and park in the the parking lots by the beach. Actually there are several beaches in the area that have public access, not just Silver Beach.

Several other hotels are nearby too , but further from the beaches.
