RIP Hereford & Hops

HORRIBLE!! We used to go fairly often, and Hereford %26amp; Hops may have been okay at one time, but now it is mediocre at best. They are going BANKRUPT and have already closed four of their locations. Food last Friday was the WORST it has ever been. Steaks were tough and fatty; I guess this comes with cutting costs. They were over done, and the server apologized but did not offer to replace them. My wife found a bug in her potatoes; the server was again apologetic, saying they were very busy. The manager was mostly abrupt and unsympathetic, stating that ';we are doing the best we can';. I paid for our meals and left a nice tip for the server--but I will never come back. REST IN PEACE HEREFORD %26amp; HOPS.

RIP Hereford %26amp; Hops

Too bad, I was looking for lunch place a couple weeks ago and couldn%26#39;t get their website to come up (I see it%26#39;s back up now) so didn%26#39;t take the chance on them and went to the Stonehouse instead (meal and Service were great BTW).

As for H%26amp;H...bad food and bad service are gonna kill you in this economy...

RIP Hereford %26amp; Hops

About the only thing I feel bad about is the loss of an Esky dining option.

My experience (@ Wausau location): not-bad beer, food OK, awful business model. Why should I pay extra for a restaurant to COOK MY FOOD?! If I wanted to grill my own stuff, I%26#39;d do it at home or on someone%26#39;s patio. Menu price to have the ';privilege'; and experience of cooking my own food-- grr!
