Tony's I-75?

Can anyone tell me about this place? I hear the portions are huge...but is the food actually good? What are the prices like - would anyone have a link to a menu? I tried googling, but couldn%26#39;t find anything!

Thanks!

Tony's I-75?

Yes the portions are most definitely huge. It is typical diner food...good but nothing extraordinary. The burrito is about the size of a woman%26#39;s forearm, the bacon is served in 1 pound increments, huge is definitely the key word. I have not been in about 5 yers but from what I recall the prices were reasonable (~$8 for the burrito). Given the area and the clientele, I highly doubt that the prices have changed that much.

Tony's I-75?

Yup, very ';diner'; food, portions are huge, and prices very reasonable. Most people enjoy the BB sandwich. There are several Tony establishments in the Tri-City area (Midland-Bay City-Saginaw-I think), but the one on I-75 (Birch Run I am guessing) is very good. Eat away. Use a napkin. LOL.

Diner food is a good description and yes the portions are huge. They really need to put a cardiologists phone number on the menu, you WILL be taking on a huge cholesterol load with just about anything you get.

Yes, the portions are defintely HUGE. Especially any meal including bacon! You get about a pound of bacon on a BLT.

I don%26#39;t find Tony%26#39;s to be especially good. I have gone a couple of times out of convenience while traveling home from the U.P. or after an all day shop-a-thon in Birch Run. I wouldn%26#39;t recommend it as a ';must go to'; kind of place.

If you%26#39;ve never gone...I%26#39;d say go once, just because you won%26#39;t believe it until you see it! I always get a grilled ham and cheese sandwich and its big enough to eat on for 3 days! The portions are huge! Its just a neat place to stop at.

Yes - I think the kids would get a kick out of it!! And us too of course!!

Thanks for all the replies!

Tony%26#39;s on I-75, or anywhere for that matter, is getting way too much attention-LOL. But a once time visit is fine...do what you must!

I haven%26#39;t been in a long time, but when we did go we always shared. At that time Tony%26#39;s didn%26#39;t mind if you split a plate. Seems like we always took leftovers. The bacon is actually quite good warmed up to make BLT%26#39;s for lunch at home after breakfast at Tony%26#39;s.

I just saw Tony%26#39;s on the Travel Channel recently. The portions did look pretty big. How much do the sandwiches run?? Even though it sounds big, $8 for a burrito is a lot.....depending on how big it is. I went to this place one time that had a huge burger....about the size of a plate. It was about $12. The burger was about the size of maybe 4 average size burgers. So when you break it down and divide $12 by 4, it wasn%26#39;t really that much for the burger! Would you guys say the same applies to the burrito and sandwiches at Tony%26#39;s??

Also, how many locations does Tony%26#39;s have now??

The burrito has 1 pound of ground beef not to mention about a whole bag of cheese. It is enormous. The club sandwich is so huge that they use a huge steak knife in each half of the sandwich to keep it together. Yes the portions are very large
