The U.S. Coast Guard cutter Mackinaw%26#39;s crew will host a haunted ship presentation free to the public on Friday, October 24. The haunted tour will be divided into two levels of spookiness, with a 5 to 7 p.m. session called “Kids Fright Fest,” designed for younger visitors and a later version, called “For the Brave,” to run from 7 until 10 p.m.
The tour of the ghost ship is free, but a donation of canned goods is encouraged.
The Mackinaw%26#39;s dock is located at 632 Coast Guard Dr. in Cheboygan.

This is so exciting! They used to do this when I was a kid and it was great. (Though they did it on the old Mackinaw at the time.) I thought they had stopped in recent years because of ';security and safety concerns,'; but if they started them up again that%26#39;s awesome!

This would be a very cool event! Is this on the new cutter, or the old one, light? We toured the Old Cutter last summer, and it was a neat tour. Did you enjoy your recent stay in MC? Where did you end up staying?
This is on the new cutter at its mooring in the Cheboygan River.
We stayed at the Clearwater Resort. Had a nice Jacuzzi room on the water with King bed. Good view and a real nice room for the money.
