Place to party before and after the football game

Howdy,

We are heading from from Toronto, Ontario to catch Michigan vs. Northwestern....I understand you cannot drink in the stadium....does anyone recommend where to pary before the game and then after? Thanks for any help..looking forward to the trip.

If you want to tailgate, pay $40 and park at the golf course directly across Stadium Blvd. from the stadium. You can drink, bring in a grill or picnic food, play whatever lawn games you want to bring, toss a football/frisbee, etc.

If you%26#39;re looking for a bar, head either to campus area (South University between Forest and State and State between South U and Huron) or downtown (Main Street between roughly William and Huron) or both. You%26#39;ll find plenty of bars/restaurants full of both people in town for the game and students. You can walk between these areas and the stadium.

I would suggest the golf course. It%26#39;s a great time on game days.
