Hi, We will be in Holland MI this weekend. I am looking for a (non chain) restaurant recommendation for Saturday night. I am looking for more casual dining or something that would allow jeans/khakis and a polo or sweater.
Additionally, I would love to come home with Traverse City pie company pie and hope I do not need to drive to Grand Rapids to pick it up. Are any of their cherry pies sold at D %26amp; W?
Any other suggestions about neat activities to see or do are welcome. I think we will spend part of the time in Douglas/Sa. but I am not too interested in dining in that area.

I believe Grand Traverse Pie Co. has a location in Muskegon. Crane%26#39;s Orchards in Fennville sells excellent pies also.
Good Holland dining options include Butch%26#39;s, City Vu, New Holland Brewing %26amp; Alpen Rose, all located downtown.

I agree with Lakeeffects suggestion of Crane%26#39;s. They are a couple of miles east on M 89/Fennville exit off I 196, you%26#39;ll go right past that exit.
In addition to the the other suggestions I%26#39;ve always liked Boatwerks and the Piper but I%26#39;m not sure either are open. Oh also we like Perredi%26#39;s (Iknow that%26#39;s not spelled right) for Italian food, located at Washington Square.
