Just a quick shout out to thank those of you who helped with ideas and suggestions for our short 3 night stay in St. Joe.
Of course, there is one in particular (and you know who you are!) that I have to thank in detail.
As we were planning our stay and looking for a likely place (coming in on the train)I received email from a person who not only checked out the cottage we ultimately rented, but met us at the train to take us there!
The area behind the train is in the process of a massive construction site and it would have been very difficult to wheel our luggage through this. In the dark!
We thoroughly enjoyed sharing pizza and conversation and were blown away by the
thoughtfulness and kindness of a fellow Trip Advisor who certainly went the extra mile.
Being in Michigan again, even for this short time, was lovely, and yes, we did find apples to bring home!
