Windermere Hotel-Beware

Made reservations in August for October, called just two days before we would arrive to tell us the hotel was booked for a church group and sorry we cannot accomodate you. Blamed another staff member for the mistake although the confirmation was signed by the owner.



The Murray Hotel (upon hearing our problem) gave us 10% off our room plus an upgrade!!! Now that is customer service!

Windermere sends apology.



We received an apology from the Windermere Hotel today along with a voucher for $150 towards a stay at the hotel next year. Now that is customer service!

Well, I am glad that they sent you that voucher. That is good customer service; too bad they didn%26#39;t tell you they would do such a thing before now. But hey, now you get another trip to the Island!
