Any opinions on nice place to eat before concert at the Fox? Parking next door so prefer close walking distance.

Well, it depends upon your food preferences and budget. DaEdoardo Foxtown Grille is right in the Fox building and is a nice, more upscale place. Can%26#39;t get any closer than that.

Elsewhere, within a short walking distance, the other places pretty much are bar food with a louder and definitely more casual vibe. They range from diner-style and sports bars to martini-type bars. All serve food, though some have rather limited menus.

One more suggestion would be Fishbones in Greektown. It is only a few block walk. I really enjoy this restaurant.

I really like Atlas Global Bistro and have eaten at Vincente%26#39;s, but neither seems to me to meet the original poster%26#39;s requirement that the restaurant be within close, nighttime walking distance of the Fox. Both are probably a 12-15 minute walk each way.
