We moved from saugatuck to las vegas 4 years ago and I am still missing saugatuck. The kindness of the people the wonderful shops, hoopty scooty, I miss you all!
Anyone who gets to visit this town will come back again and again
I miss saugatuck
Aaahhhh. That%26#39;s nice. We have 6 inches of snow today,, still miss Saugatuck? Send me your address and I%26#39;ll send you a bloody mary from the butler. :)
I miss saugatuck
Rono, I absolutely miss Saugatuck. Only in Saugatuck can a person say the snow is Magnificent!
I lived on lake shore drive, waking up every morning, seeing the broken up ice on the lake, drinking a warm cup of cocoa.
We now live in a nice town called Aliante, in north las vegas. There aren%26#39;t any small coffee shop%26#39;s where everyone knows each other. None of the small shops that take on a fantasy of their own. Kindness is lost in vegas.
I have a 5 year old who can%26#39;t live in michigan because the cold bothers his asthma so badly. I wish that someday my son Storm will visit Saugatuck and love it as I have.
Keep in touch with all the fun you have!

I just emailed you a picture of Lake Michigan that I took last winter.
Ahh, that was very nice of you, Rono, to do that for Angella. There are always pros and cons to wherever we live. Enjoy where you do live as much as possible, it makes it easier in the long run.
Las Vegas has all the things of a busy town and more. I am like a country girl in a big city. You can get lost the first year you are here.
I did find an orchard here this fall, and I am finding more and more things for sure.
The mountains are amazing, they surround the city. We live about 30 minutes from mt. charlston, and it does snow there, in fact they have snow there now. It was 80 here today and we grabbed our coats and went up to the mountain for a few hours and threw some snow balls, then came home and put our shorts back on. So that is definately a plus. Although.....
If you have been to saugatuck and seen the exquisite sun sets, and the kind people there you will never stop missing it no matter where you go!
Thanks so much for responding
