If used Spirit.com, sidestep, and booking buddy in the past. Where have you been finding the lowest prices recently?
DTW departure flights. Who u booking with?
I use Kayak.com which does a search of nearly every airline and website and spits out the best possible price.
I also sometimes buy NWA coupons if I can find them online.

itasoftware.com will show you the rates for everyone. I like the 30 day search option that will even show you the best days. Then compare against southwest.com since they don%26#39;t show in 3rd party booking engines. Then go directly to the airline website to book the best price.
If you are flexible, also try out of Flint (FNT), Kalamazoo (AZO) and Lansing (LAN). With ITA you can check them all in one search by putting DTW;FNT;AZO;LAN in the From field.
Thanks
Hey Jam. I just booked a flight to Orlando for my parents and the cheapest I found was on the Southwest site. It was cheaper than Sprit or any travel site that I checked and it’s a non stop flight. They may have been running a special when I booked it but I got a great deal.
Hey Kilarney. Thanks for the info. I%26#39;ve used Southwest on domestic flights but unfortunately I don%26#39;t think they fly to Jamaica which is what I%26#39;m currently looking for.
I should have known that. Lol Have a good trip!
I like how Southwest rewards you by getting to your flight check in early. I don%26#39;t know if they still do that but it is nice to get your choice of seat if you get there early.

You can check in online 24 hours before your flight, no need to get there early.
Just about every airline these days lets you select your seat when you book (at least online) and also both permits and encourages online check-in starting 24 hours before scheduled flight time. I have been doing it with NW for years.
Jamerican,
Spirit%26#39;s had great rates lately into MBJ, and I think they%26#39;re still running their buy one get one free special. Are you on their mailing list?
