Need help with planning SURPRISE 30th birthday party in GR!!

Hi! I am desperate. My husband%26#39;s birthday is the day after Christmas and I have HALF BAKED plans. My original idea was to book a party bus and then do a bar crawl in the greater GR area. Of course I was going to charge per person, and I just feel too bad doing that and I can%26#39;t afford to pay for the full bus on my own.

Does anyone have any ideas as to where I could reserve a large place for 20-30 people? If the guests want food, they can order it on their own. My husband enjoys sports bars with pool tables, shuffle boards, darts etc...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,

Erin

Can%26#39;t think of the name but there is a big pool and dart bar on plainfield. Somewhere around Creston High School on the west side of the road. I will try and find the name.

Ravdog,

You%26#39;re talking about Pete Brown%26#39;s Office (at least that%26#39;s what it was called a few years ago when I lived just across the street on Hanover). I%26#39;m not sure if it%26#39;s still the same name, but it%26#39;s a pretty cool little pub...it%26#39;s actually an Irish joint...Guiness on tap, several Irish whiskeys, etc...not really upscale at all though, in fact I%26#39;d say a little divey but there are several pool tables, darts, etc.

Also, just a few doors South is a bar that I can%26#39;t recall the name of that used to have golf simulators and lots of fun stuff to do...maybe even bowling? I can%26#39;t remember, it%26#39;s been a while...
