Tigers Tickets (opening day)

Thinking of attending the Tiger%26#39;s opener on Friday, April 10. The Tigers haven%26#39;t posted tix on sale yet and I assume that the game will be sold out.

I don%26#39;t mind paying a premium for tix but a $12 bleacher seat is selling for $99 on Stub Hub. I don%26#39;t mind paying a little extra but hate to get stuck with a pricey ticket if the game is rained or (heaven help us)snowed out,

Are there usually people trying to unload tix outside the park on opening day and can they scalp them?

I guess I could skip the opener and go on Saturday...bleacher seats are $12 %26amp; $13 for that game.

Scalping on the street is against the law and if you are caught buying or selling you can end up getting fined in addition to having the tickets confiscated. It will be next to impossible to find tickets at a reasonable price since opening day is huge and demand is high. Scalpers on the street along with the ';legal scalping'; stub-hub does have no shortage of customers.

Like the first response said ';scalping'; is illegal in Detroit. That being said there will be many people selling tickets around Comerica Park on opening day, the closer it gets to game time the cheaper the tickets will be.
