I just wanted to tell everyone Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the regular posters and to all of the others who visit Trip%26#39;s Michigan forum. I am off to Texas for the holidays. Moms: Have a great vacation Up North! I shall bask in the warmth that TX has this time of year (they better have it....!) Tyme

Travel safely Tyme! It was 67 degrees here yesterday and we received a dusting of snow today...At least in northern Michigan in the winter you can anticipate the weather! Have a great time in Texas!

Made the venture to Bronners today... would you believe it wasn%26#39;t a zoo?!! I%26#39;m still shocked!

Maybe it was a mid-week thing, L; I imagine this weekend it will be a zoo. Good idea to go today! :)

Well, I will miss a white Christmas; but then, we had a white Thanksgiving to sort of makeup for it-LOL.

Thanks – Happy Holidays to everyone. I’ll be stuck freezing in Michigan for Christmas but that’s alright too. Frostbite looks good on me! :o) I was afraid my new puppy would not go out in the snow but I’m having a hard time getting her back in! She’s burying herself in it! Lol

That is funny Kilarney! My dog loves it outside during all of this snow.

I will be about 3 hours south of Dallas, Rono. But with this snowstorm due to arrive on Friday, with ice to the south, not sure when we will leave....!

U 2 RedRox! We had a good time in TX. Weather was pretty good, much better than here in MI! We stayed at a very cool game ranch, with lots of animals (mostly various varieties of deer)to view each morning and evening. Glad you had a great time on your trip! Best wishes for a great 2009 for you and your DW, also. It was a pleasure meeting up with you both in NH.
