Wedding

My daughter is looking for a quaint B%26amp;B in this area. The Terrace Inn looks really cute. Has anyone had a wedding there or nearby and can offer any suggestions? She is looking for fall of 2010 with about 75 people.

djkrt,

Your daughter has chosen a wonderful area for her wedding! While the Terrace Inn is quaint and a nice spot for dinner, I don%26#39;t know that I%26#39;d trust them for something as important as a wedding.

We were married eight years ago in November at Stafford%26#39;s Bay View Inn and absolutely loved it! The property%26#39;s beautiful if you%26#39;re into old inns and B%26amp;B%26#39;s and Stafford%26#39;s is the benchmark in hospitality in Northern Michigan. The main thing in planning a wedding is the support you recieve before and during the event, this is one area where Staffords is head and shoulders above their competition.

My sister was just married last fall at Stafford%26#39;s Perry Hotel and has similar glowing comments. The Perry can accommodate a much larger wedding, but with about 75 guests, you could go with either property. The Perry is much larger, an hotel instead of an inn, but is very historic, offers tons of charm and is right downtown for an easy walk to all Petoskey offers.

Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see photos from either property.

Thank you so much for your suggestion. We are taking a trip (from Chicago) to that area and will definetly check it out!

Another nod for Staffords. the location of the Bayview Inn is ideal and Staffords has the staff and experience to handle parties of just about any size or budget at all of their facilities in Petoskey or Harbor Springs.
