Aero Bars

I know that in Canada you can get these candy bars and my children are addicted. I am wondering with the close proximity, if you can get them in Ann Arbor. We occassionally find them at World Market but they are usually stale. Lame the things you look for when you travel but it%26#39;s the little pleasures in life that are the best. Thanks. E~

Aero Bars

Meijer and Hiller%26#39;s (both grocery stores) have a pretty decent selection of British candy, and I%26#39;ve seen Aero bars at both (and at World Market).

Depending on where you are in town, here are locations to choose from:

Hiller%26#39;s is at Arborland, near the Washtenaw Ave exit off of US-23.

There%26#39;s a Meijer not far from there near Carpenter and Packard.

Another Meijer near the Ann Arbor-Saline exit on I-94.

Meijer near the Zeeb road exit on I-94.

World Market on State just north of Eisenhower.

Busch%26#39;s grocery stores and Kroger may also carry them. I haven%26#39;t looked at either.

Aero Bars

How sweet of you to include the details. My kids (and I) will surely stock up. Thanks E~

Sweet like . . . an Aero Bar? :-D

Actually, it was kind of funny. I like to read all the Ann Arbor posts just in case I can help, but I was sure that I couldn%26#39;t help with this one, because I%26#39;m not a bar-going person. The candy bar never entered my mind when I read your subject, but I was thrilled to be able to answer all the same. I%26#39;m partial to the mint ones, but try to only buy one for myself when I%26#39;m buying a milk chocolate one for my husband%26#39;s Christmas stocking each year. They%26#39;d be too addicting otherwise.

Very Funny, yes, chocolate is about the only type of bar I know anything about. Mint is my fav, too.

We buy Aero bars to put in Christmas stockings when we can find them. We discovered them first in London several years ago, I guess they are such a treat because we get them so rarely (and they taste so good). I bought a huge bag of snack size ones at the duty free shop at Gatwick on out last trip and we rationed them like crazy people - they lasted nearly 3 months :)

Thanks again!
