Carnival Days with kids???

I just found out that we%26#39;ll be there (staying at Mountain Run) during Carnival Days. I had hoped to ski for three days but from previous posts it sounds like it may be too crowded for my 4 beginners? If that%26#39;s the case, I trying to figure out what else we might do. We%26#39;ll do the waterpark at least one afternoon and I%26#39;m checking into renting snowmobiles, but I don%26#39;t think we have enough adults. We%26#39;d like to take the kids to Mackinac Island sometime, but is there anything to do there in March?

Any suggestions you have for activities (on or off property) with 4 boys ages 4 - 12 during Carnival Days is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!!
