For those foodies who are heading to Charlevoix this December to enjoy some skiing in the area or just enjoy a relaxing weekend, don%26#39;t miss the Saturday Open Houses at Esperance Wine. This is a gourmet food and wine store located just north of downtown Charlevoix. Over the summer, I purchased several wonderful bottles of wine and great salads and meats from the folks at Esperances. I won%26#39;t be there on any Saturdays so I will miss this tasty event. Just thought I%26#39;d let others know about it. Moms
Here%26#39;s a link to the event:

Something fun to do in Charlevoix this DecemberThanks for posting this Moms. You know I like Charlevoix but won%26#39;t be going in December. You know I really dislike winter, and I don%26#39;t know why I live here, oh yeah the summer. Anyway the ole Michigan forum gets a little slow this time of the year and I thought I%26#39;d say hi to you and wish you happy holidays.
Something fun to do in Charlevoix this DecemberYes, it does get awfully slow, so I will say hello and Happy Thanksgiving to you guys, too! Waiting for summer then, are you Rono? Me too. Ever consider being a snowbird, or maybe in the future? Just curious. I know you post about DW fairly often.
This was our first Thanksgiving in New Jersey in several years. We are usually in Michigan and thoroughly enjoy the few days of snow that has accompanied Thanksgiving over the past few years. I must admit we are always happy to come home to sunshine and 40 to 50 degree temperatures in late November and December. This year we are all a bit sad to be here but Dad%26#39;s work schedule didn%26#39;t allow for a full trip to MI this year. He is off to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos on Saturday. Our entire family is heading to NYC tomorrow morning (are we crazy?)for the day! It will be chaos but we are visiting good friends so it will be worth it. Needless to say we are looking forward to our trip Up North in late December.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, Rono and Tyme and all of the other folks who frequent this now quiet forum! Moms
I wish my work schedule took me to Provo. Tyme, I%26#39;m terrible with abbreviations, DW?
Oh and call me crazy, we%26#39;ll be downtown Chicago for the next three day.
Disney World. LOL. Thanks, Moms. Not looking forward to winter this year-guess I am showing my age...!
Happy holidays to all of you! And I understand that Boyne Highlands and Nubs Knob are open already and snow conditions are pretty good. So for those of you who are stuck in Michigan, there is a winter sport option.
Me? I%26#39;m leaving Sedona next week for warmer weather in the tropics. It%26#39;s a beautiful sunny day here today after the first rainy Thanksgiving Day in 20 years!. But it%26#39;s only going to get up into the 60s. Brrr. I%26#39;m outa here.
RedRox: Shut up.
HaHa.
;-)
Just thought I%26#39;d bump this post and say congratulations to Momstravel. I always knew you were a destination expert, I just didn%26#39;t know which destination to pick.
