Valentine's Day in Livonia (or Novi, Canton, nearby areas)

Hello!

I suddenly realized Vday is only a few weeks away. What do you suggest for a decent restaurant in the Livonia, Novi or Canton area? I don%26#39;t want to go to Detroit. And I prefer a place that let%26#39;s you make reservations but many places don%26#39;t do this anymore :(

These places are out but should give you an idea of the quality I am seeking.

- J Alexanders - went there a few vdays ago, waited 2 hours for a table. Good food but not on vday!!

- Andiamos - went there for my bday last year, had reservations and still had to wait for 30 minutes!

If you happen to know a place that is having a special for vday or an event, you can tell me about those places to :) Vday is more fun if the whole restaurant is celebrating!

Try Fleming%26#39;s in Livonia. They take online reservations. Very high end steakhouse, probally $175+ for dinner for 2

Bonefish Grill in Novi. Reasonable prices and outstanding food. Very quaint. My favorite appetizer is the Bang Bang Shrimp (little spicy). The last time I was there I ordered the filet with gorgonzola butter. I think the filet was around $17.

My other favorites are Steve %26amp; Rockys in Novi and this is a little ways out, but Gandy Dancer in Ann Arbor.

La Bisteca in Plymouth is very good but pricey. The best calamari appetizer I%26#39;ve ever had.

For something a little less expensive, but good I like Giulios on Plymouth Rd in Livonia.

One more....Sweet Lorraines in Livonia. Can be pricey but really good food.

We are by flemings all the time (b/c cold stone is right there) and I always wondered about them. However 175 is high! So I think I%26#39;ll save that for our 10th anniversary or something :)

I looked up Steve and Rockys yesterday and that was an option. Oh and I always forget about that Sweet Lorraines. We go to that mall all the time and always think about eating there, I think Vday may be a good time :) Thanks for your suggestions, Ill look into them more.

We decided on Bravo Cucina Italiana in Livonia after I saw another thread here mentioning the restaurant. We always see that place and want to try it, plus they now take reservations :)

I think I%26#39;ll save Sweet Lorraines for a night when we can do the dinner and a room deal :)

Nice choice. Enjoy! You really need to try Bonefish sometime also.
