My gang prefers the Original Butterfly House. Wings of Mackinac feels a bit more touristy to us. It is at the midway point of the carriage tour. Both offer beautiful butterflies but the Original is just that, original! Moms

I have to agree with Moms. Both are nice but I too prefer the original.

The Original is our favorite as well. The Wings of Mackinac is inconveniently located unless you take the carriage tour (where it is located at the transfer location). The Original Butterfly House is a block off Main (Huron) Street, not far from downtown.

Our last visit was over Labor Day weekend last year and still found it enjoyable.
